The most popular of all the EquaGel® wheelchair seat cushions with skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities. It is a flat gel cushion incorporating the two-stage gel configuration. Much of its popularity with nursing and therapy professionals is that it is not dependent upon knowledgeable staff to properly place the cushion in a wheelchair – it can be frontwards, backwards or sideways and still perform as designed.
While the EquaGel® Straight Comfort Wheelchair Seat Cushion is not coded for Medicare reimbursement, it will provide the user with extended comfort while aiding to prevent pressure sores. This cushion also aids in wound care treatment.
